Based on USB 3.2 Gen 1, the T5 EVO transfers data up to 3.8 times faster than external hard drives and delivers maximum performance with sequential read and write speeds of up to 460 megabytes per second (MB/s), making transfers easy files.
Improved portability and ergonomic design
The idea behind the design of the T5 EVO is “Compact, lightweight and ergonomic”. The portable SSD aims to offer a new experience with an ergonomic design that deviates from the size of a professional card for the first time while maintaining compact and lightweight features. It’s 95mm wide, 40mm long and 17mm thick, meaning consumers have an 8TB portable storage device that’s small enough to hold in one hand. This combination of compact size and ample storage offers users faster speeds, equivalent capacity, and a smaller, lighter body compared to an external hard drive. The product’s carefully designed weight of 102 grams also inspires confidence in its robustness.
The T5 EVO also features a black body and a titanium gray ring, giving it a premium and elegant look and allowing it to blend naturally with other gray colored host devices.
