Playing Debate is an educational tool to engage young people in science by questioning the use and impact of science, particularly digital science, in society and daily life. After a thematic series on artificial intelligence, the Tree of Knowledge association, with the support of Inria, offers a new work on digital technology in sport.
With Jouer à Débattre (JAD), the Tree of Knowledge provides educational and cultural workers with free educational materials to interest young people (aged 13 and over) in science in a different way and to introduce them to civil debate in a fun and transdisciplinary approach . Through role-playing that encourages them to represent positions and make decisions, young people can approach complex questions in a nuanced way using concrete objects and thus reflect on the benefits and risks associated with scientific innovation and technology.
Since 2018, the Tree of Knowledge has collaborated with Inria to produce resources on digital sciences, including a thematic series on the use of artificial intelligence in various areas (transport, health, security) and today a new medium for the debate on digital technology in Sports.
