Eclipse, the singing group and incubator experience, invites anyone who would like to sing in a group to attend the Choral Experience next Thursday, December 7, at 7 p.m. in Terrebonne.

For the occasion, a medley of the most popular Christmas songs has been put together, according to an online vote by people who enjoy choral experiences. So it will be a festive moment as the Christmas season approaches!

What is a choir experience?

In 2018, Hugo Valiquette, president and director of Éclipse – the singing group as well as experimenter and trainer at Expérience incubateur – brought to life the idea of ​​creating short-lived choirs where people come together for an evening to rehearse and record a song! So during the Choral Experience, anyone interested in singing in the group will meet at 7 p.m. to rehearse the song and then record it. This is then shared on social media to see the result. No experience in choral music is required to participate. You just have to want to join in, sing and enjoy music for an evening!

How it works ?

Participants can then listen to the frame that corresponds to their voice (high, medium or low voice), as well as the lyrics and the score. Before the choir experience, simply listen to the sung score a few times.

What happens during the choir experience?

On Thursday, December 7th, starting at 6:45 p.m., you are cordially invited to gather at Montere Masson 640, Suite 100 in Terrebonne. At the beginning of the evening, the participants rehearse the song together. We record the song at around 9:15 p.m. and at 9:45 p.m. we celebrate a great evening of music!
