Transcend’s MTE250S is a high-end SSD that promises read speeds of up to 7200 MB/s and 6200 MB/s write speeds. Unlike its cousin MTE250H, which we tested, it does not have a heatsink.
The MTE250S 1TB is the M.2 SSD of choice for those who want fast and efficient storage. His reading and writing speeds are excellent. Please note that you must use a heat sink for this, otherwise the performance of the heater will be limited. If necessary, we can resort to the MTE250H, which, although otherwise identical, has a heatsink.

The Samsung 990 Pro 1TB is an excellent internal SSD with ultra-fast read and write speeds. It competes directly with Kingston’s KC3000, which was already very fast while offering more controlled heating.
