Note to fans of retro video games: Atari And Digital solar eclipse today released a free update to their collection of classics, Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. This Christmas update adds 12 new games! Players can (re)discover great Atari classics, community-created homebrews, but also old, long-lost prototypes!

The full list of games added for the Christmas update includes fan favorites like Maze Craze, MotoRode and Super Football, as well as prototypes like Aquaventure and Save Mary. Additional free expansions are planned for the future, some of which will include even more titles, interviews, and behind-the-scenes looks at the golden age of gaming.
